Flutgraben Performances<\/em> was initiated and run in 2019 by artists Cl\u00e9ment Layes<\/a>, Moritz Majce<\/a>, Adam (aka Sandra) Man<\/a> and Jasna L. Vinovr\u0161ki<\/a>. Every year we invited 6\u20138 artists to participate in one season.<\/p>\n

Flutgraben Performances<\/em> was a series of events located at Public in Private studio and other spaces at Flutgraben, an artist-run studio building in Berlin Treptow. It was dedicated to the exploration, growth and transformation of live art. Each year a group of 10-12 artists came together regularly to work and perform together. Individually the artists followed their own artistic tracks without any limits in form and content. They used the time to test, develop, re-think and discuss their artistic practices and believes. On a collective level the group invented new forms of meeting the public, aiming for an encounter of artist, art work and art lover as a fertile, intimate and joyful act.<\/p>\n

From 2020 to 2024 we ran the artist-in-residence program Flutgraben Performances Residencies<\/em> that allowed artists to create and research at the homebase of Flutgraben Performances<\/em>, the Flutgraben artists\u2019 house in Berlin. Each artist could work for the period of one month, according to the research, exploration, practice or project they are aiming to deepen or develop.<\/p>\n

Since early 2021 Flutgraben Performances Residencies<\/em> was run by Cl\u00e9ment Layes, Moritz Majce and Adam (aka Sandra) Man. Production and organisation management was done by Tiphaine Carr\u00e8re Loquet. Flutgraben Performances Residencies<\/em> wass funded by the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe from 2019\u20132024. <\/p>\n
